Charti is a Swiss service that automates the processing of your invoices and documents: intake by email, photo or connectors, reading and filing by artificial intelligence, payment of QR bills and backup to your personal cloud.
Entirely in Switzerland. Your documents are stored and processed end to end in Switzerland, including AI classification, under Swiss jurisdiction.
No. Classification runs through Infomaniak, a Swiss provider: the content sent to the model is never stored, logged, or used to train any AI model. This processing remains subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
Yes. Your data stays private and belongs to you. Every document is also synced to your own cloud (kDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or your own Nextcloud server): you always keep a copy, even if the service were to shut down.
Yes. Charti can simply read and classify your documents, then send them to your own cloud. Once the copy has reached you, delete them from Charti: the copy in your cloud is never touched. You can also empty the trash to erase them for good right away.
No. Sync only the Charti folder of your cloud: most cloud apps let you choose which folders to sync. A small script can then move new documents out of that folder into your usual local folders. Charti never re-sends a document it has already delivered, so your cloud simply acts as a drop-off point.
CHF 9.90 per month or CHF 99 per year (two months free), with 50 documents included each month. You can try it free for 14 days, with no commitment.
Every account comes with a personal @charti.ch email address: forward your invoices there. Connectors, via the Charti browser extension, automatically fetch documents from your customer portals (e.g. your health insurer). You can also upload your files directly, and soon photograph paper mail with the mobile app.
Yes, by combining Charti with Swiss Post's scanning service. Swiss Post opens and scans your letters, then delivers them to the Post app. From there, share each letter by email to your @charti.ch address: Charti reads and files it like your other documents. All your mail becomes digital.
Yes. Text is extracted from every document, including scans, then cleaned of recognition errors. You can then search in full text, refine with filters and save your favourite views.
The website is optimised for browsers and tablets, and iOS and Android mobile apps are coming soon.
Charti is available in English, French, German and Italian.
Yes. Your documents are continuously synced to your own cloud storage, organised in clear folders. You keep full control and can leave at any time without losing anything.
